Correspondents
Material for publication should be submitted to your local conference
Herald correspondent indicating that your story is to
be passed on to the Lake Union Herald.
Correspondents prepare submitted story copy for transmission
to the Lake Union Herald managing editor. Unless they have
the ability to send their photos by e-mail, they mail the photos
with hard copy of the story. They also check the Mileposts forms
to be sure they're completely filled in and logical.

Volunteer writers
If you have a story idea that you feel might inspire other churches
or members in the Lake Union, but don't feel you can write it yourself,
you may contact your conference correspondent or the Lake Union
Herald office, and a volunteer or staff writer may be able to
write the story for you. Or you can e-mail
your story idea and a volunteer or staff writer will contact
you.
If you are willing to be a volunteer writer who could help others
get their stories published, please contact the managing
editor at the e-mail
address or phone number listed above.
